Ordering conditions:
First up, we aren't a big operation. We do try to carry all frames in stock at any given time but, despite our best efforts, we sometimes get caught out. If we don't have the frame you are after in stock you can expect about a 6 week wait whilst the frame is constructed, powder coated, shipped, processed and finally couriered to you. If you are after a custom colour the wait can be longer.

In the event of us not having your frame in stock we require a 50% deposit up-front with full payment to be made before the frame is couriered to you.

All payments are to be made by direct bank deposit.

Morewood Engineering cc. Limited Warranty for General use:

Morewood Engineering cc. provides each original retail purchaser of our bicycles a one-year limited replacement and a two year limited repair thereafter against defects in materials in and workmanship in the bicycle frame from the date of purchase. Warranty for bicycles in competition use is listed in section entitled Limited Racing and Competition Warranty. Suspension forks, rear shocks and bicycle parts found on our complete bicycles and frames will not be subject to any warranty by Morewood Engineering and will be covered under the stated warranty of their original manufacturers. Any components not produced by Morewood Engineering cc. but bearing their branding will be subject to the warranty of the manufacturer and not to Morewood Engineering cc. This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not in any way transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through an authorized Morewood dealer. Proof of purchase will be required for any warranty to be accepted. A warranty registration card must be completed and received by Morewood Engineering cc. before a warranty claim may be processed, this can be done on our website www.morewoodbikes.com. This warranty covers all Morewood bicycles purchased outside South Africa only if purchased through an official Morewood dealer within the country of purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper assembly or follow-up maintenance, instillation and use of parts or accessories not originally intended for use on the bicycle or compatible with the bicycle as sold. Damage or failure due to: accident; misuse; abuse; neglect; modification to the frame, and/or its components are not covered in any way by this warranty. Morewood Engineering cc. and its authorized dealers, distributors and retailers shall not be held responsible in any way for incidental or consequential damages to persons or property due and resulting to the failure of misuse of their product. Morewood Engineering cc. reserves all rights to carry out warranty assessments and to handle the details thereof according to their own discretion.

Limited Racing and Competition Warranty:

This warranty overrides all terms and conditions of the general usage warranty stated above and become immediately effective when a Morewood bicycle is used in competition. If a Morewood bicycle is used in any competition whatsoever it will be subject to the following warranty agreement, thus voiding the Morewood Engineering cc. Limited Warranty for General Use.

Terms of Warranties:

All warranties subject to the sole discretion of Morewood Engineering cc.
Only first owner eligible for warranty.
All claims to be processed through an official dealer.
This warranty offers no cash refunds
This warranty is void if Morewood Engineering cc. is lead to believe the bicycle has been subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, alterations, modifications, an accident or other abnormal, excessive, or improper conditions.
Damage resulting from wear and tear, including the results of fatigue, is not covered by any warranty.
No ware items shall in any way be subject to this warranty these ware items are including but not exclusive to: derailleur hangers, pivot axles, attachment hardware and bushings.

How to petition for frame warranty:

Contact nearest Morewood dealer and inform about Warranty claim (or visit www.morewoodbikes.com to find a dealer nearest you).
Compile all purchase documents that prove you to be the original owner as well as showing the date of purchase.
Go to your nearest Morewood dealer with the bicycle as well as all supporting documents showing proof of purchase.
Get your warranty claim number from your dealer (this allows you to track the progress of your claim).

Important Notice

If your Morewood frame is in any way defective in materials it is important that you cease riding immediately. If riding continues serious damage, injury or even death may result due to the failure of the frame.
